What a ride 2020 was. I don’t think a single person was not effected in some way by the events that transpired. Aside from some health issues that landed my backside in a hospital bed a few times, the Australian bushfires hit me in the feels the hardest. I actually still have an evacuation list taped to the wall next to the front door. Friends came dangerously close to losing their homes and many of us had plans in place to help with evacuations depending on which bushland was currently on watch. Myself and a friend ended up getting tattoos which proceeds went to two Charities; $8000 to Koala Rescue and $2000 to Bushfire Collective. It was a pretty amazing day with hundreds of people lined up, snaking round the street.
2020 is behind us now but 2021 will have it’s own trials. Thankfully we have some great new releases expected this year that will help us all escape for a time and rejuvenate our mental states. I hope everyone does their best to keep themselves and those around them safe and healthy.
Lastly, I have been MIA due to internet and computer issues. I now have a new, super PC so hopefully I’ll be able to post reviews more frequently.
